Chinese: 

  • Listening: I can understand the meaning when I hear the Chinese words “新年好(happy new year),祝贺(wish),恭喜(congratulations),红包(red envelope),鼠(rat),家(family),爱(love),福(happiness),春(spring)”.
  • Speaking: I can say the words “I can understand the meaning when I hear the Chinese words “新年好(happy new year),祝贺(wish),恭喜(congratulations),红包(red envelope),鼠(rat),家(family),爱(love),福(happiness),春(spring)”. 
  • Reading: I can read the Chinese characters “昨(yesterday),今(today),是(yes),明(tomorrow)”. 
  • Writing: I can write the Chinese characters independently “昨(yesterday),今(today),是(yes),明(tomorrow)” in a correct way. 

Math:

  • I can compare numbers and I understand the signs "<", ">" and "=".

Homework:  
  • 1 Practice listening or speaking Chinese for a few minutes each day. Practice by talking to parents (even if they don't understand what you are saying), siblings, your stuffed animals, or even yourself in the mirror. You can go here for language videos.  Record time spent practicing Chinese on the homework planner page.
  • 2 - Class DoJo Assignment: Class DoJo tasks get updated on Mondays and due on Sundays, students have one week's time (or longer if there's a holiday) to complete the task. Please check the Class DoJo app or website for the latest homework updates
