Chinese:

  • Speaking: I can say the words “I can understand the meaning when I hear the Chinese words “科学（science），南瓜（pumpkin），生命（life），周期（cycle），种子（seed），芽（spout），藤（vine），花（flower）”. 
  • Reading: I can read the Chinese characters “山（mountain），人（person），水（water），火（fire）”. 
  • Writing: I can write the Chinese characters “山（mountain），人（person），水（water），火（fire）” independently in a correct way. 

Math:

  • I understand doubles fact and doubles-plus-2.

Homework:  
  • 1 - Practice listening or speaking Chinese for a few minutes each day. Practice by talking to parents (even if they don't understand what you are saying), siblings, your stuffed animals, or even yourself in the mirror. You can go here for language videos.  Record time spent practicing Chinese on the homework planner page.
