Chinese:
- Listening: I can understand the meaning when I hear the Chinese words “颜色(colors),紫色(purple),橙色(orange),粉色(pink),金色(gold),银色(silver),灰色(gray),咖啡色(brown)”.
- Speaking: I can say the words “I can understand the meaning when I hear the Chinese words “颜色(colors),紫色(purple),橙色(orange),粉色(pink),金色(gold),银色(silver),灰色(gray),咖啡色(brown)”.
- Reading: I can read the Chinese characters “山(mountain),人(person),水(water),火(fire)”.
- Writing: I can follow my teacher and write the Chinese characters “山(mountain),人(person),水(water),火(fire)” in a correct way.
Math:
- I understand doubles fact and doubles-plus-1.
Homework:
- 1 - Practice listening or speaking Chinese for a few minutes each day. Practice by talking to parents (even if they don't understand what you are saying), siblings, your stuffed animals, or even yourself in the mirror. You can go here for language videos. - 2 - Class DoJo Assignment: Class DoJo tasks get updated on Mondays and due on Sundays, students have one week's time (or longer if there's a holiday) to complete the task. Please check the Class DoJo app or website for the latest homework updates.
- Test:
- We will take Chinese test 4 on Nov 7, Thursday. Students can prepare for the test with studying MMX-K Lesson 4 on Quizlet and practicing writing of characters in MMX-K Lesson 4 on Chinese Writing. (Please note that writing practice at home is ONLY recommended when the students are under supervision and can be reminded to write with CORRECT stroke order.)
